I'd like to swap out the generator on my TR3A for an alternator. I'd like to
do this in a way that would let me easily go back to "stock" if I ever wished
to.
Most of what I've found talks about using a GM alternator (AC Delco 7127, 60
Amp).
>From what I understand, mounting the alternator requires a fair bit of cutting
and improvising. I'd ideally like to do a bolt-on. Is anyone aware of a
supplier that offers a suitable mounting kit?
Also, will a different pulley be necessary in order for me to continue to use
the same fan belt I use now? If so, what should I ask for?
