Moe:
Welcome to the family of TR4A drivers! My opinions on your queries for
fluids:
Motor oils - probably 80% of the folks on this TR list use Castrol 20w-50.
Very good hot idle pressure readings - available almost everywhere
oil additives - waste of money that can be put to better use. Change oil and
filter every 2,000 miles
Brake fluid - both standard and silicone will give good service but the
benefit of silicone is that if a leak occurs the silicone will not destroy
paint. A major consideration if you have put extra money and time into the
paint job. Without a lot of hassle, once you have chosen one over the other
you are committed to that fluid and for the paint reason I recommend the
silicone
Radiator coolant - Standard anti-freeze with distilled water at 50 / 50 mix.
A freshly rodded radiator with the correct blanking style thermostat will
eliminate cooling concerns. I call leak sealers "passage sealers"
