Trying to keep grease off the spokes on wire wheel?

I read somewhere, sometime, probably long ago, that there is a good type of
sealing spray to keep the grease on the axles from creaping out and down the
spokes. I guess it was applied inside the wheel around the spoke ends. Has
anyone had any luck in trying anything similar they could recommend? TIA
