Only the very earliest TR6's did not have the black treatment.
Sorry, Dave but this isn't so. Our '69 US spec TR6 demo car in red
(UDU69G) had a black tail, as did the TR6PI in the showroom and all
the others up to 1972. I thought there came a time when they didn't
have black tail ends but I can't remember when it was.
