One thing to remember is that running non-stock tires will obviously
change the measurements. For instance, Dennis's tires will lower the
car slightly over an inch whereas the typical replacement tire size
(205/70/15) will also lower your TR6, but only by 0.4 inches.

I'm starting to get the idea every answer is going to be unique.
My '76 TR6 is as follows:
Front - 27"
Rear - 27 1/4"
Stock springs all around with a small aluminum spacer under the
rear springs (takes care of that little TR6 "sag").
205 65 R15 Pirelli P6000 tires.
