You are looking at $12/15,000 just for the body painted and shipped to this country, then another $10/15,000 for the complete mechanicals & interior, plus the cost of the car to begin with, forget it buy one already done, you trying to go from the ground up as you describe doing, will be in the neighborhood of $40,000, you can buy a concours show trailer queen for 10/15, your decision is very easy.
