Sorry for the non-LBC question. Car involved is a 95 Corolla. The wipers are
slow, etc. I tested the battery and got 12.5 volts with the engine off. With
the engine on, I got essentially the same reading. But race the engine and
the reading is 14+. Is this variance consistent with an alternator problem?
The belt seems tight enough. But why would the alternator need to be raced to
have output?
