I have to disagree. Everybody is going for the retro look. What could be
more retro than cart wheels?
Soon they will be 3' in diameter with 1/4" rubber bands around them and we
will be back to the look of the 1830s.

I'm sorry, but these manufacturers are getting a little too carried
away with large-diameter wheels. The Solstice is yet another example
of this
the wheels look ridiculous! I've seen a couple of SUVs in
town recently with 19" wheels and I just have to laugh. It may just
be my opinion, but wheels that big look STUPID on anything but an
IMSA GTP race car.
And that new Nissan 350Z? Looks pretty much like an Audi TT. Not
that an Audi TT is a bad-looking car, but I think Nissan should have
gone more retro with their new Z instead of copying the Germans. (Of
course, they've copied the Germans a lot over the years, so why stop
now?)
