List,

In addition to the organizers of the Triumph Spares Show in Stoneleigh who
put on quite a show, I'd like to acknowledge the many good people and
establishments in England that helped make our trip this past weekend go
smoothly. Since we all are enthusiasts, I thought the list might be
interested in these acknowledgments. I've highlight a few names and
hopefully won't get a name wrong - if so, please forgive the errors, I
crawled into bed at 2:30am after an 8 hour plane ride and my brain really
isn't sure what time it is at the moment!

Steve & James from TR Enterprises
Darryl from Racetorations
John Macartney, John Bishop, and others from BMIHT
Ray from the Jaguar Plant
John & Neal from British Heritage

And, also a special acknowledgment goes to Graham Robson who became our
private companion and official tour guide for two days.....what a great guy -
there's only so much that you can absorb from reading books, the rest of the
learning experience about these cars can only come from meeting these people
and hanging by their side as they share stories.

Our trip to the Triumph Momument with Graham was especially moving for us -
even more for him. As any of you know who have visited the house you grew up
in or your old neighborhood many years later only to find the area paved over
with fast food outlets and strip stores, it is a bit depressing. Graham
painted a picture for us of what the Triumph Plant in Canley looked like
during its "heyday" but I knew that all we could do was imagine while Graham
recalled details with vivid and emotional accuracy. For all of you who
contributed to the Monument, your dollars were well spent....it is a splendid
shield!

Cheers to all of our England friends.....it's really tough to get back to
work and it's cold back here:)
