RE: Allison/Crane ignition electrics

....I assume that Crane will honor Allison's lifetime warranty on this XR700
system.

Pete,

Unfortunately, Crane does NOT honor any warranties on Allison systems (ask
me how I know).  In fact, during the last couple years or so, they have
quietly "down-sized" the warranties on most of their own ignition systems
and modules to 1 year.
