Thanks to all who responded with advice on my starter problems. With the information from several folks on the list, I was able to identify the problem. The terminals on the starter solenoid were corroded and the wiring itself was corroded at the terminals. With a little effort and some sandpaper and wire brush, the starter now works like a champ. Thanks again. What a great list! ______________________________ Greg Hutmacher /// triumphs@autox.team.net mailing list /// To unsubscribe send a plain text message to majordomo@autox.team.net /// with nothing in it but /// /// unsubscribe triumphs /// /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool |
