First, Thanks to all those who have visited and provided feedback on my
site....
I will continue to add additional materials and improve the site as I
acquire info and/or requests. Please keep those emails coming. If you have
materials (in print or electronic form, for loan or sale, and would like
it posted, let me know). I also own some older tech manuals (ie.,Clymer
and Autobooks) and could post theses, but don't want to violate any
copyright laws... what are your thoughts?
My apologies for those who tried to access the site and experienced
problems...
[] Tripod (Lycos) offers/hosts 50MB of web space for free, and service can
be spotty at times (see their response below). PLEASE TRY AGAIN.
[] Also, in exchange for the space they advertise, but if you "minimize"
the pop-up AD window (Ads appear in a separate pop-up window, which is
called up by JavaScript commands), you never have to see it again (may not
work on MacOS).
[] I used JavaScript a bit, and that can lead to issues for some (sorry),
but it adds really cool functionality.
[]Some users have slow internet access devices (i.e., 28k dial-up modems),
and I used a lot of images. Should I create a low-res, slow speed version
(you know, "click here for text only" version). Let me know.
