Surely the blocking of rocker pin-holes will prevent the 'oozing'
of oil as it trickles down the rocker to lube the rocker heel on the
valve stem?
Blocking the holes would significantly reduce this flow and quickly
accelerate hammer
type wear on rocker and stem faces through lack of oil cushioning.
