My question about a stainless exhaust for my TR3A brought forth some
interesting discussion which follows in summary:
Almost everyone that has a stainless exhaust uses the one made by Falcon.
One lister purchased a Borla stainless muffler and stainless tubing and had a
muffler shop install it. I seems that no-one has installed or even heard of
the system made by Double S. One lister commented that he got 16 years of
service out of a mild steel system.
All of the Falcon users like the sound produced by the system and so does the
Borla system owner.
Users were unanimous as far as the Falcon's systems ease of installation.
However most TR6 owners weren't totally pleased with the fit.
It looks as though the people's choice rides on the Falcon exhaust system.
