I used Plasti-Kote too, but had no real problem. I baked it in an old
toaster oven, so maybe that's why I had good results. That said...it doesn't
hold a candle to powder coat!!!!! Side-by-side, even with a relatively
uniform paint job, there is no comparison. Send it to FT - you WILL be
pleased!
