Just got back, we had a great time. Casper joined two TR4s for a
mini-convoy to Ventura and the only problem we had was a loose
generator bracket bolt and a misfiring sparkplug (or two) but these
were both easily fixed. Casper was asked to take the lead, I think
they were afraid I would not be able to keep up, which may have been
true <G>
We ran the autocross, funkana, and the TDR enjoyed everything, did
not finish "in the money" on anything but it didn't matter as we just
liked being there. I have lots of pictures I am going to upload to
the website and then I will send the URL.
Coming home I was embarassed to run out of gas on 395 about 10 miles
short of Kramer Junction...:-(...OH the humiliation...and we only had
about 266 miles on that tank of gas, should have been good for 300 at
least, I guess all the charging up and down the twisty hills on the
TDR reduced the mileage considerably, but thanks to AAA Plus, we were
back on the road in about 30 minutes.
