I had the day off and spent it in the garage
trying to troubleshoot my Ignition Problem.
I removed the electronic ignition and replaced
with the original points system, still no go. I
started checking the voltages and all connections
throughout. Still won't fire. One question I have
is what is the voltage from the negative terminal
of the coil to the distributor suppose to be? I
get a reading of .25V when the system is switched
to the on position. Is this correct or do I have a
bad coil.
I spent an hour and a half trying to find this
information and just couldn't put my hands on it
on the internet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
