Make all of you jealous, I still have an 8 track adapter that hooks up to my
home stereo.

Doobie Bros...8-tracks...vans....
Well, I never had a van. But in the 1970s and early 1980s I had both my GT6+
and my Volvo 145 wagon set up with slide mounts so I could easily
interchange
my CB radio (23 channels was quite enough then, thank you) or my RCA 8-track
(4 "channels" really was NOT quite enough then, thank you).
I don't terribly miss either one (CB or 8-track, that is; I still have the
6+
in the barn and what's left of the 145 out behind the barn -- I really don't
know where the 8-track player went).
