I'm thinking I should be able to hook it up to a 10-12v power source with a variable resistor and check the gauge. Any idea what voltage range should give what reading on the gauge? Any idea what I can do about it if it reads nothing? Is there an idiot's guide to Smiths gauges out on the net somewhere?
