Paul, the secondary is supposed to open via a mechanical linkage from the
primary.
It is supposed to begin opening somewhere between half and 2/3'rds and reach
full open as the primary
reaches full open. or so I am led to believe. I do not think it is sequential
(full primary then progressive
opening of the secondary).

To my knowledge this is not an "adjustment", it is an integral mechanical
connection which somebody has
messed with. Do reconnect the linkage as per original.

All:

I noticed today that the Weber DGV's that the PO had installed were not
opening fully.
With some tinkering and cussing, I got the primaries to go full open. Nice
power boost.
My question concerns the 2nd barrel on each carb. They're not opening.
I think I can adjust the linkage some more to make them open at full
throttle.
Are any of you TR6ers running the Weber's with the secondary kicking in?
Except for the header and the Monza exhaust, the engine is stock.
My concern is that adding 2 more barrels of carburation would be too much
gas, drowning it in gas that the engine can't burn.
Any insights are welcome.
