Hi-
I just received my brandly new rubber bumpers from Fitchetts, for the Herald
1200... Very pretty things, and pre molded and cut to fit. I can hardly wait
to put them on, though I will, as it will look better if I paint the car
first!.
Anyway, one thing I noticed, and I can not quite recall if it is wrong, is
that the new rubber bumpers have a pronounced thin ridge along the centerline,
horizontally. Is this original, or a later addition? I looked at some of my
literature, and it appears right, but I do not recall this thin little ridge
on dad's cars- although it has been many years...And I don't have my old ones
to look at as they were destroyed during removal.
Anybody?...Anybody?...Buehler?...
TIA
Scott
(Happily awaiting the reattachment of the main body to the center and frame
tomorrow, if all goes according to plan!)
