I once did a scientific test of the "bumblebee" wire on a 948cc Herald. Using 
the original wire set, I drove up a hill as quickly as possible. Top speed was 
only about 37mph. At the top of the hill, I put on the bumblebee wires and 
drove back down as quickly as possible. Both acceleration and top speed 
improved dramatically.

Of course, I did have a tailwind during the "bumblebee" run; that might have 
skewed the results somewhat.

p.s. Oh, and go with the genuine Lucas suppressor caps, p/n 78106, which will 
add yet another 10 mph to the top speed (and, in my case, further increased 
fade on the front drum brakes).
