Like any vehicle, there is a "RED LINE" for the engine speed, and
when racing this is where the engine produces the most horse power, the
torque curve ususlly is much lower. Periodic forays to the "RED LINE" in
a street car is ok, as long as the engine is not held there for very
long, you must remember that racing engines only last a few races and
this is why.
