i am feverously restoring my 72 gt6. at this point it is almost
drivable. up to the carbs.
i have the 'official' stromberg carb manual and a haynes manual for the
car.
it appears the 150 cd is very adjustable and tune able
but the 150 cdse (emissions version) is hardly adjustable at all.
my car is running very rich, the spark plugs were black soot.
i live at almost 7000 foot altitude and so that does not help at all.
does anyone have experience adjusting these carbs ? i mean the se
version with the fixed jet and plug (rather than nut) on the bottom of
the carb ? any advice would be greatly appreciated as always. i can't
see how i can adjust the mixture !
