I quickly run out and double check the carpet fixings....

This is a post TS60000
THe main tounnel cover is held on by four snaps, two on each side. As
you look at the tounnel it starts wide and narrows down. the width stays
the same until just before the shifter then it narrows down to the body
tounnel.
The snaps are located along the section before the shifter where the
width remains the same. One on each side at the front and at the rear of
this centre part about an inch up from the flange.
The rear tounnel carpet section sits over the rear of the main tounnel
carpet section and has a snap near each corner about an inch up and an
inch in.
The rear shelf carpet has a snap near each rear corner. Where it goes
down to the floor in front it has a snap near each bottom corner on each
side of the tounnel. So the rear shelf carpet has 6 snaps total.
The rubber floor mats are anchored at the front by clips on the bulkhead.
The rear two snaps on the rubber mat will tell you where to locate the
mat snaps on the floor.
Then of course there was no carpet under the seats (If there were it
would be an excellent place for wet carpet to start rust.
EXTRA CREDIT:
The bottom mat in the boot of my TR3A came from the factory with a snap
near each of the four corners. Evidently the pre-TS60000 TRs many not
have had snaps holding the boot bottom mats in place.
If you have a pre TS-60000 3A with different carpet parts please ignore.
