Hi all, Thumbing through my Brooklands Road Test book for TR4, TR5, TR250; on
page 48 there is an article about a cast alloy head having opposed valves with
induction on one side and exhaust on the other. This article first appeared in
Autocar, August 23, 1963. It was developed by a company called Lawrence-Tune
Engines Ltd. This head was to have its competition debut in the Tourist Trophy
race at Goodwood on three " works " Morgans. Anyone know more about this head.
Doubt that one could be found at this late date, but would like to know if it
was successful, and if many or any were produced. It's an intriquing design.
Thanks,
Mike
