Guys, thanks. I received about 12 answers. Yes, I use Norton anti-Virus in
the auto mode so I have not had my machine infected. I also use a firewall.
I understand how viruses work and do not open attachments unless I am sure
they are OK.
My question was whether you folks have been getting the same types of
messages. I am on several automobile lists and suspect that someone on one
of them is putting out the messages with files attached. It is rather
unsophisticated in that the text of the e-mail is the same each time but the
senders address and the attached files change. Thanks again.
