Does it say anything about a button to hit for four speeds, with a magical
OD?

I've owned my TR6 for over 12 years, and I thought I knew quite
a bit about it. While perusing Dan Masters' "Triumph TR250-TR6
Electrical Maintenance Handbook", I noticed some troubleshooting
procedures on what to do if your wipers only work on one speed. My
wipers only have one speed, says I. Out to the car I go, turn on the ig-
nition, and turn on the wipers. Wipers go back and forth. Turn the
switch further - Huzzah, the wipers speed up! After all this time, I now
know that I have two-speed wipers!
Now if Dan would only write a book about Overdrive trannys... (*)

* Yes, I know there's a chapter on Overdrives, but my problem is
    not electrical.
