Sorry to be off topic but as this nasty virus seems to be a world wide
epidemic and as I have recieved it from list members, I thought it best to
direct victims to a cure. As a Mac user, smugly secure from this one I
offer my sympathies.
I was able to download a removal tool from Symantec
(http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.sircam.worm@mm.html)
on to a disk. I put it in and ran the disk and it repaired the damage.
