remember (some of you do) you use to be able to buy batteries with a
lifetime warranty. I guess these days are over. Another sign of showing
ones age. I decided to go with the Optima battery. There was a lot of
positive responses and Pep Boys has them for a pretty good price.

I remember J. C. Penney used to have an auto service operation and they
sold batteries with a lifetime warranty.  The batteries didn't last any
longer than anybody else's but you could go get a free replacement every
several years.  That was about the time they got out of the business.  Go
figure.
