But don't forget, the Tire Rack price does not include shipping
($10-15/tire), mounting and balancing ($10-15/tire), stem ($1-$2/tire)
and disposal fee ($3-$5/tire). In some states, I believe they also have
to collect sales tax. Plus, there's the hassle of finding someone to
mount and balance them for you; most tire places do not like carry-ins.
Of course, some of these charges may also not be included in the $60
that Brian mentioned, and Dunlop dealers frequently quote prices before
Federal Excise Tax (which is included in the Tire Rack price). Just be
sure you're comparing apples to apples when shopping for price.
