I have before me a wide assortment of nylon washers, thrust washers,
regular washers with two different sized holes, neither of which fits over
the pins, nylon bushes, tubes, nyloc nuts, and seals, and lower wishbone
arms that belong on the car. I have studied Haynes and Bentley, and just
when I thought I had it figured out, I realized I understood the trunnion
end of things.
The nylon bushes are in the arms, OK, that's easy enough. The steel tubes
go on the pins, albeit with considerable slop (at least to me). Now how in
tarnation do you organize all those washers?
For sure, once I get this figured out, I will take a picture of each step
and post it on my website so someone else won't scratch the last few hairs
off their heads.
Yours in frustration,
Jim
