A quick and sloppy web search suggests there is a race track near
Honesdale. though I didn't find the track name. I've only seen race fuel
like this near tracks, and you're usually limited to pumping it into your
race car, or into cans -- that is, they're supposed to come out and put
you in shackles if they see you pumping race fuel into a street car. <g>
For the '60/'64 bastard bugeye I shared with a friend for a year or two --
with a engine worked over by the DPO and a 40mm Weber -- we had
to run either lots of octane boost or a mix with race fuel from a track
SE of Columbus OH. Luckily it didn't run often or for long, so we could
easily keep a supply of fuel in the shed.
A Denver local list member has a Corvette that requires very high
octane fuel, I don't remember if he said he goes to the airport or to
the track for gas. I suspect he uses most of the tank going to and
from the gas station, but I'm sure it's a nice drive. <g>
