Another thing to be aware of : it's important to lube the point cam
lightly when changing points.  If this step is skipped, it's possible
for the cam to rust and become pitted (even though you never see the
rust, because the points polish it off constantly), which leaves a rough
surface that will wear the point block quickly.  If your car seems to
'eat' point blocks (ie the points themselves seem to wear normally, but
the gap constantly needs to be set larger), a point cam replacement is
in order.
