Thanks, Andy.  I looked on the VTR site, but I was expecting the info to
be under 'Buyers guide', didn't read the history page.

Very likely so, with a commission number of HB7826LCV.

I don't plan a slavish restoration to exactly the way it came off the
dealer's lot.  Not that there's anything wrong with doing so, it's just
not my style.  But any modifications will be minimal, and reversible. 
For example, I'll likely keep the (apparently incorrect) SU carbs that
are already on it, paint it a non-original color, and put modern tires
on it.

But I'm not planning on dropping in a 427 Chevy, either <g>

If it's really as mechanically sounds as the seller thinks it is, I may
try to drive it to Breckenridge !
