No offense intended, but NJ is a damn sight nicer to live than many other
states I can think of. I have lived here almost all my life, lived in
California, Maryland and Pennsylvania, and my area is the best of all of
them. I live in Southern NJ, and make no claims for Northern NJ, which
should be its own state anyway. My area, despite the best efforts of the
land rapists(developers) still maintains a nicely agri-rural environment.
Farther south, still, are some very large farms. So's you know, a good deal
of tomatoes(proper spelling as plural) come from this region, and are some
of the best. Real "Jersey Silver Queen" corn is from this area. Cranberries
are native to this area, and Ocean Spray gets them here. (Your health can
thank southern NJ for cranberry juice) I could go on. There are things
around here not to like, but mainly things like Politicians and developers
who overload the highway system, and hurt the environment by putting too
many houses in, so they can feed their greed. But I would like to ask for a
retraction of the "yeah, right" as NJ still is a "Garden State" despite the
rest of the country's efforts to demean it. If you ain't lived here, don't
criticize. (Besides, we are only 20 minutes from a whole heck of a lot of
stuff that was hours away in Maryland- malls, people, real cities...)

Rant off,
Scott
