> Last year (http://www.milton.com/bryce_sara/triumph/Log.htm), I
first encountered a strange incident in which my temp and fuel gauges
and turn signal indicator lamp stopped working for a few minutes and
then started working. This week, it's popped up again a few times again
and then things suddenly start working... Any idea where to start?

I've noticed is the voltage regulator
located behind the speedo... Am I all wet or is this a reasonable
candidate? Anyone know how I should go about trouble-shooting the
problem before I tearing up the dash?

Bryce, the voltage stabilizer behind the speedo feeds the two gauges but
doesn't feed anything else. However, the wiring on these cars is
configured in a daisychain which means that power goes to one device and
then is feed to the next device, etc. This requires much less wire than if
all the devices on the green circuit (brakes, wipers, turn signals, gauges)
were wired to the fuse block. Your problem is most likely a poor,
intermittant connection at one of these points.
I suggest you get Dan Master's book which contains an excelent primer on
troubleshooting electrical problems. In the meantime check all the green
wires and their terminations checking for less than tight pushon
connectors..
Good luck
