I've heard of places which will strip car panels back to bare metal by
chemical dipping, however I've never encountered one of these places in the
UK. Do they reallly exist? I have an excellent original Herald bonnet from
which I would like to remaove all paint and some surface rust before
refinnishing, and I really don't want to get this sandblasted. As of
yesterday, I also have a new Stanpart Herald door which appears to have been
flood damaged (stood on end, there is thick surface rust on the hinge end).
Again, sandblasting will not get to the interanl extemities. Any
suggestions? Somewhere within striking distance of Wiltshire would be ideal,
but I'd be interested to hear your suggestions,
