Hi Doug
I just asked my partner about this, she deals with copyright for a dormant
record label from time to time, she thinks that the worst that will happen
is for you to be asked to remove it from your site. It is probable that BMW
will own the copyright (if copyright is still valid, logo's and similar
things need renewing regularly) to this material or copyright may have
transferred to the new Rover company.
These are not the opinions of a lawyer!

Subject: who holds BL copyrights?
|
| Hi all,
|
| I recently won an ebay auction for an obscure book describing the
| emissions equipment for '73 Spits, GT/TR6's, and Stags. It's a
| BL publication and there's enough setup and tuning info in it
| (which I don't see in Haynes or Bentley), to warrant scanning it
| and putting it up on the web. I'd do it, but it might be a
| copyright infringement.
|
| Any advice appreciated!
