Does anyone on the list in the Seattle area have a good place they take
their wire wheels for mounting and balancing? A local Les Schwab dealer
that we have been going to for years told me during a recent flat repair
that they couldn't balance the tire properly due to the rim being bent. I
purchased a brand new Dunlop wire wheel, (ouch), had the same dealer mount
and balance, but during a ralley over the weekend found the wheel balance
was worse than ever! My arms got numb trying to hold on to the steering
wheel. I've tried to show the aforementioned dealer the proper locations
for grabbing the hub on the balancing machine, but they still can't seem to
get it right.
