Hello y'all,

Just thought I'd share my results with everyone - just in case anyone else
should ever have the same problem.

Overwelming #1 response: contact a speedometer shop and have a reducer built
or recalibrate the speedo. I have talked to the local shop and they want $65
to do so ... not too bad.

Second most popular response: Contact a GM dealership and have them
cross-reference to a gear that will give a more correct reading. I'm working
on that, but most of the local places don't want to spend the time looking up a
$15 part.

and coming in third place ... get used to it or disconnect the speedometer.
Yeah, right ... like I want to do that much math all the time! (what, do you
think I work with computers or something? .... wait a tic, I do!) ;)

Anyway, I'd like to thank everyone for their suggestions. This list has saved
me in a pinch more times than I can count!
