Unfortunately, the Heralds used an "organ pedal" hinged on the floor with the
cable attached to the top of the pedal. Cheap, effective and (sometimes) not
terribly durable.
But going with your thought, Joe, it might be possible to adapt a Spitfire
pedal assembly, since the chassis layout is the same and the relative
position and shape of the bulkhead are similar enough between Herald and
Spitfire where the Spitfire pedal assembly would mount.
