Thanks for the replys, However I discovered the problem shortly after
posting my request for help. The popping problem seemed to be a couple of
springs
seating on the spigots also the imput shaft some how turned and would not
align its self with the OD. I separated the two components removed the
springs, and offered them up again this allowed me the opportunity to realign
the two components. I then again separated them reinstalled the springs and
the rest went together with ease.
