Read in the Denver Post today that two 14 year olds, cutting
school the Friday before spring break, borrowed another
truant schoolmate's [father's] replica '51 MG roadster and
drove it around the neighborhood lake several times before
hitting a guardrail and flipping into the lake.
It seems likely alcohol was involved, and lapbelts were not.
While it seems like a fluke, make sure your kids' friends
can't borrow your Triumph. If you have teenage kids,
maybe it's a good time for a frame off restoration.
