Has anyone heard of the ring on a harmonic balancer that has the timing
marks on it twisting from its original position?
I have thought for a while that this has been a problem on my TR6. Is there
a way to check for TDC without pulling the head? I've tried the screwdriver
through the sparkplug hole trick in the past on this car but could never
tell when I was at TDC because of the way that the plug is angled.
The reason that I am all of a sudden concerned with this is that I am trying
to time the engine as part of installing the DCOE's.
