Hello List,
I am trying to install my exhaust system and I am running into some little
problems. There are 2 rubber straps, one long and one short. The shorter one
doesn't seem to want to go anywhere. When I tried to install it on the tail
pipe end...the muffler hits the frame and I can't bolt the strap to the
muffler because it's too short. If I try to put it at the other end(under
the gas tank), the muffler hits the bottom of the trunk. The strap the goes
under the gas tank seems to mount in a little hole I found in the
differential cross member. Is it suposed to go there? Can someone tell me
what I am doing wrong? I checked almost all parts catalogues and manual and
it seems like I have the right parts.
