Yikes! Before you run them through the bandsaw, please process my
order for several more for any TR4 I buy in the future, plus a spare for
when I screw mine up by mistake. ;-)
Your passion for building a good product certainly shows, and it's surely
a good product. For perspective, at Revington TR I was looking at a
"braided stainless... petrol hose and tap set that... includes an inline tap
to assist maintanence and can be used as an antitheft device." But at
GBP45.25+VAT ea. I choked. Now it seems cheap compared to your
gasket. Any limited run high performance part HAS TO BE expensive.
Doesn't seem like gouging to me, supply, demand and cost of
production. And compared to my time scraping gaskets, it's cheap.
