Bill,

Do have any portion of the original door? It originally had an
aluminum inner panel hinged to the lower edge of the glove box
opening, than a 1/4" plywood piece that was covered in the same vinyl
used on the dash and then the whole assembly is screwed to the
aluminum panel. The door was finished wt. a keyed lock and a chrome
strut to limit the opening of the door.

The plywood can be fabricated easily, as can the vinyl covering,
However, the aluminum piece, hinge and other metal pieces would be
difficult to fabricate. Have you tried Triumphs Only in San Jose. I
seriously doubt that they would have a right hand drive glove box
door, but Wayne will definitely have a left hand assembly you could
look at! (So do I as far as that goes!)

Give me a call if you want to get together and look at my glove box,
(I have completely rebuilt mine) 650-494-3951.

Good luck and regards,
