And if you feel really energetic you canjust run a good bead of RTV around the cover and eliminate the gasket complrtly. < One trick I learned years ago when using RTV gasket maker without gaskets is to lay a piece of sewing thread in the interface area to build in a gap to allow the RTV to fill. Without the thread you run the risk of squeezing all of the RTV out of a joint leaving a leaky - dry section. Dave |
