Working on my '71 TR6 this weekend I discovered that the outside rear axle gaiter on the passenger side is torn. Haven't had a chance to look at the driver's side yet, but I assume that I should probably replace both inside and outside gaiters on both sides of the car in the near future. How big a job is this? Is it beyond the range of a minor league amateur mechanic? Any special skills, tools or help required? I'd be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks, Charlie Frazer Cfrazer@ballmer.uoregon.edu |
